Even though I left the Catholic church 27 years ago, lighting a candle when I feel troubled still brings me peace. You keep the good things.

Catholics are not the only ones who light candles but I know what you mean. I have kept lots of Catholic ritual but then again most of it was taken from "pagans" any way.

I never was catholic, but now and then its necessary to light a candle in front of Mary.

Dear Cie, something totally unrelated: Because I switched to WordPress I can only comment on blogger blogs with "open ID", as this one. Does not work on "the sewer". I just want you to know that I simply can not comment there because of software-glitches and no other reason.

It is written: A woman shall compass a man and create a new thing in the earth (Jer 31:22), the man is Satan(Isa 14:16), the new thing is now delivered to the world. It is written: Satan has deceived the whole world (Rev 12:7), until the heel of time(Gen 3:15). Check out the bruising of Satan at http://thegoodtale.blogspot.com

Um...thanks for that, Val. But since I'm too old to have any more children and I'm completely celibate, I doubt I'll be giving birth to Satan or anything else anytime soon. Nor is proselytizing going to bring me back to the church. I dislike organized religion. But thanks anyway.
